Schiff Bases and Their Complexes in Organic Light Emitting Diode Application

Abstract Optoelectronics is an active area of research and, for few decades, development different semiconducting materials with a wide emission window has attracted researchers. Organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) are primarily utilized in displays and sources that greatly contribute towards the conservation energy do not need backlight displays. Development device efficiency, lifetime stability now major concern this particular application, designing efficient material OLEDs been field decades. Metal-organic compounds possess optical electronic properties due to metal organic ligand interactions which used OLEDs. This review mainly focused on Schiff bases their chelates as pure layer or dopant fabrication R/G/B/white devices. Moreover, future prospects explore further advance OLED arena also discussed.
